Attendance/Participation Requirement
McLennan Community College (MCC) is in compliance with Chapter 130A of the Texas Administrative Code, Subchapter A, Sec. 130A. 008 in regard to student attendance and funding eligibility. Here’s what you need to know:
- Attendance and Participation
- Attendance means physically attending class or completing an academic activity as defined in your course syllabus (Instructor Plan).
- Participation refers to completing academic activities outlined in the course syllabus.
- Important Deadlines
- If you do not meet attendance/participation requirements by the Census Date, you will be dropped from the course. Notifications will be sent to your MCC student email and personal address.
- Reinstatements
- If dropped, you cannot be reinstated unless you emailed your instructor before the census date about technical issues or submitted a HelpDesk ticket.

- If you’re dropped and unsure why, contact your instructor for clarification.
